Optimum energy efficiency
About a quarter of the total energy consumption in plastics processing is due to extrusion processes. By using energy-efficient solutions, it is possible to reduce energy and water consumption many times over.
Extrunet has been driving development towards sustainability for many years through energy saving systems and now also with technologies that lead to enormous savings in cooling water consumption.
A great economic and ecological advantage that can also be implemented on existing extrusion lines.
extrunet will be happy to advise you,
to make the best use of their resources.
ECO+ Version
Energy saving with vacuum management
Energy savings are achieved with up to 4 self-regulating, digitally controlled vacuum zones for supplying the dry calibres.
Speed-controlled side channel compressors and cyclone pumps are used for the wet calibres.
Detection of partial profile breaks or Profile breaks (material run-ups before the first calibre)
We would be pleased to provide you with a test unit for testing the energy saving possibilities of existing systems!
ECO version
up to 55% energy saving
The vacuum is generated:
- in dry caliber with one speed-controlled vacuum pump per vacuum zone
- in wet caliber with side channel compressor
e:MCC – Multiple Cooling Control
Optimum use of cooling water in the tool can be determined.
Use of different cooling water temperature levels for special cooling, cooling in the dry caliber and cooling in the tool tank. Together with the options “Temperature control of cooling water for tool tanks” and “Internal cooling/heating circuit”, enormous savings in cooling water can be achieved.
